About US

Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church (MMMBC) was founded on December 27, 1879, under a humble brush arbor. More than 147 years later, Mt. Moriah continues to stand as a pillar of faith, service, and community in Crestdale, faithfully carrying out its mission under the leadership of Pastor Larry Whitley.










MEET OUR PASTOR

Pastor Larry W. Whitley is the Senior Pastor of Mt Moriah Missionary Baptist Church.  He has devoted the last 29 years to doing God's will as a NC Highway Patrolman, serving on Matthews Board of Commissioners, and as the leader of Mt Moriah.
